Weekly Measles Outbreak Estimate Updated

Update
We’ve published this week’s updated estimate of active measles cases in the U.S. based on the latest CDC data and real-time trends from the VaxCalc Map of New Cases. As of April 25, the outbreak appears to be slowing, with about X to Y active cases likely nationwide.  (Sign in to see the numbers.)

Our estimates continue to use a trend-aware model that accounts for reporting delays and case growth patterns, helping you better understand the true scope of the outbreak — without relying solely on cumulative totals.

“Big scary outbreak? Fuggedaboutit. I’ve seen bigger problems at a kid’s birthday party. Still, smart crew keeps an eye on the playground.”
